Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role involves engaging with customers, managing reservations, and supporting the smooth operation of the establishment. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, along with a strong commitment to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Greet and seat guests courteously, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere
* Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
* Assist with food preparation and presentation when required
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
* Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and other beverages
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
* Manage reservations and optimise seating arrangements for efficient service
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
* Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism throughout all interactions
Qualifications
* Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
* Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards
* Experience working in a restaurant environment or as a barista is advantageous
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A personable attitude with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
* Flexibility to work various shifts during the week including some weekends
