Executive Business Manager to the Chief People & Culture Officer Contract Type: Temporary (6 months) Location: Hybrid (1 day a week in London Office) Daily Rate: £192 - £231 Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in advancing the People & Culture strategy of a leading charity. We are seeking an Executive Business Manager to support the Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO) for a six-month secondment. This unique opportunity will allow you to contribute to the delivery of strategic objectives while gaining invaluable insights into the alignment of People & Culture initiatives with broader organisational goals. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the CPCO, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their portfolio and its complexities. Partner with the CPCO's Executive Assistant to manage schedules and upcoming commitments effectively. Autonomously undertake projects, demonstrating sound personal judgement within set parameters. Build and maintain effective relationships with the Executive Team, Board of Trustees, CEO Office, senior managers, colleagues, and employee representatives. Develop draught documents and materials to support the CPCO's initiatives. Work with the People and Culture Senior Leadership Team to ensure the successful delivery of strategic objectives. Handle complex and sensitive issues with discretion, seeing them through to resolution with minimal guidance. Provide expertise to enhance directorate processes and improve ways of working. Assist the CPCO in internal meetings, including research, pre-briefing, and follow-up actions. Track and report on key deliverables, ensuring timely alignment and engagement across the organisation. To excel in this role, you will need: High personal integrity and a commitment to openness and honesty. Proven experience in building trust and effective relationships with Executive Team members. Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and sensitive situations with discretion. Autonomy in managing multiple priorities and tasks. Capability to work under pressure and meet pre-determined deadlines. Strong planning and organisational skills to balance competing demands. Ability to influence and secure commitment from diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of organisational development and strategic planning processes. Proficiency in analysing data and identifying trends.
