The Service Engineer will work independently or as part of a team. The main activity involves servicing electrical and automated lifting equipment, both indoor and outdoor.
You should have significant experience with lifting equipment, primarily mechanical, with basic electrical knowledge.
Responsibilities include fault finding, analyzing electrical wiring, reporting faults in automation systems, and isolating electrical devices to a safe status.
Work hours are during normal weekdays, with possible call-outs at night and on weekends on a rotational basis.
Profil
* BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, or up to a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Automation, with relevant 18th Edition certification up to date.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably with customer relationships, from an integrated maintenance service team or an outsourced service company.
* Certifications such as CSCS, Safety Passport, Asbestos awareness, Harness, and Work at Height are required. A full clean driving license is mandatory.
* Fluent in English, capable of reading and writing short technical reports and intervention job cards.
* Proficient with tablet and smartphone technology for daily job reports.
* Enthusiastic, patient, communicative, with good interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Leadership skills in intervention and job management are advantageous.
* Knowledge of automation and programming is a plus, along with some programming capabilities or fault identification skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and report effectively to varied audiences are essential.
