Overview
Mechanical Estimator – M&E Contractor. A rapidly growing M&E subcontractor with three offices across the UK is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team at their Dartford office.
Location: Dartford (Office Based – Monday to Friday). Permanent position. Competitive salary.
Responsibilities
* Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and tender submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
* Pricing mechanical building services systems including pipework, HVAC, and associated plant
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
* Producing cost plans and tender breakdowns
* Supporting the pre-construction team and senior management
Requirements
* Proven experience working as a Mechanical Estimator within the M&E / Building Services sector
* Strong understanding of mechanical installations, specifications, and pricing
* Ability to review technical drawings and tender documentation
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car (required due to office location)
