THE ROLE We are looking for a new Consultant to join our talented and fast-growing consultancy team. We’re a unique organisation with a mission to make financial services fairer for consumers as well as the businesses that serve them. The purpose of this role is to make financial services fairer by advising firms on how to achieve consumer understanding and deliver fair value. You’ll be answering questions such as: What is fair value for customers? How can we communicate more effectively with customers? How can we prove that customers understand our communications? How should policy and regulation be designed to deliver fairer outcomes? You’ll play a key role in: conducting sludge audits and detecting deceptive patterns; rewriting communications into plain English; designing consumer testing and experiments; analysing data, and assessing which types of customer generate the most profitability. YOUR BACKGROUND We welcome applications from candidates with varied experience and academic backgrounds. For example, behavioural science, economics, psychology. You’ll hold at least an undergraduate degree in behavioural science, economics, psychology. You may have 1-2 years’ of professional experience, or a postgraduate degree. You’ll have proven knowledge of advanced analytical tools in those fields, and the ability to bring a structured and methodical approach towards solving complex problems. You’ll be working as part of a close-knit team ( meet them here !), and so you’ll have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent time management. A desire to seek feedback and learn quickly. The honesty to admit mistakes. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU Salary : £26,000 - £32,000 pa full time, depending on experience. Plus company pension, performance-based annual bonus, and six monthly salary reviews. Location : Hybrid working, with an expectation of at least 3 days a week in the office during the 3-month probation period, and at least 1 day a week afterwards.
