Our client, a Top 100 accountancy firm based in a vibrant part of Central London, offers a great mix of a strong technical client base (much of which is akin to that of a Top 20 firm), combined with an excellent work life balance and a relaxed, sociable environment.
Audit Manager responsibilities include:
* Planning, supervising, and reviewing audit engagements for a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients
* Overseeing the preparation and audit of financial statements under Charities SORP
* Reviewing statutory accounts in line with Charities SORP, FRS 102, and other applicable frameworks
* Conducting independent examinations of smaller charities and overseeing preparation of accounts where necessary
* Mentoring and developing audit team members
* Being the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing strategic advice
As an Audit Manager, you will:
* Be ACA or ACCA Qualified with at least 1 years’ post-qualified experience
* Be experienced in managing a portfolio of clients
* Demonstrate the ability to manage and develop a team of staff
* Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for the charity and not-for-profit sector
* Confident with SORP and FRS 102
