Based in Leeds, Glasgow or Manchester A Leading Infrastructure Services Contractor is looking for a Buyer or Senior Buyer to join their team in one of there regional offices. The main objective of the role is to develop and implement procurement strategies for power & infrastructure projects. You will: Lead strategic procurement activities across a portfolio of suppliers and subcontractors. Support subcontract procurement activities, working closely with commercial teams. Support with supply chain and category management initiatives across the supply chain. Deliver the procurement requirements of site teams. Further Details Working closely with the Commercial team to help support on direct and indirect categories for leading power, utilities and civils projects across the UK. Candidate Requirements Our client is looking for Senior Buyers looking for a career move. They are also keen to speak with experienced Buyers looking for career progression. You will have 3 years experience delivering strategic procurement across infrastructure projects for any main contractor or large subcontractor. Ideally you will have some experience of delivering subcontract procurement, however this is not essential and training will be provided.
