This is a rewarding front-line position supporting vulnerable service users, including individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and those who may require additional emotional or behavioural support. The role plays a vital part in ensuring safe, dignified and reliable transport for customers travelling to and from various establishments. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for: Safely transporting children, adults and older people with a range of mobility and support needs. Assisting passengers on and off the vehicle and providing practical and emotional support throughout their journey. Managing and calming challenging behaviour, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere. Completing daily vehicle checks, maintaining cleanliness, and carrying out routine tasks such as topping up oil, fuel and water. Transporting wheelchairs, equipment, goods and staff safely. Communicating professionally with service users, carers, relatives, professionals and partner agencies.
