Role Overview
As the Manager you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the shop, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming store environment. The role includes preparing and sorting donations for sale, managing manual handling tasks, recruiting and maintaining a skilled volunteer bank, and establishing links with local businesses, Salvation Army Corps and community members. Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day running of the shop.
* Deliver outstanding customer service to donors and customers.
* Prepare and sort donations for the shop floor.
* Recruit and manage a bank of skilled and general volunteers for collecting, sorting and preparing donations.
* Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, Salvation Army Corps and community members.
* Ensure compliance with safety and manual handling procedures.
* Schedule does not include evening or Sunday working.
