We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our busy Finance Team at Silent Sounds, a leading interpreting and translation services agency. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

About the Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our finance operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
* Liaising with interpreters and clients
* Checking timesheets for accuracy and completeness
* Chasing missing timesheets and following up on discrepancies
* Data entry and processing of financial information
* Assisting with financial reports and data analysis
* Providing high-quality support to interpreters and clients via phone and email
* Managing general office admin tasks and maintaining organised filing systems
* Generating and maintaining internal reports to support business operations
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a finance or accounts support role (desirable but not essential)
* Strong data entry and administrative skills
* Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
* A team player with a flexible and positive attitude
* High attention to detail and excellent time management
