We are offering an exciting opportunity to join Slough Borough Council as a Population Health Intelligence Analyst, undertaking a fully funded Level 7 Health and Care Intelligence Specialist Apprenticeship. This 36-month role combines professional on-the-job training with a structured academic programme delivered through the JGA Group, providing a unique route into advanced health intelligence, epidemiology, and research practice. You will support both Public Health and Public Protection teams, applying analytical skills to real-world challenges in areas such as health improvement, health protection, housing, community safety, and environmental health. Working closely with colleagues, partners, and the local community, you will play a vital role in turning complex data into meaningful insights that inform decisions, tackle inequalities, and support evidence-based services across Slough. We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our Public Health team as a Population Health Intelligence Analyst (L7 Apprenticeship). This unique role combines hands-on professional experience with a fully funded Level 7 Health and Care Intelligence Specialist Apprenticeship, delivered over 36 months by the JGA Group. As part of this role, you will develop advanced skills in epidemiology, health intelligence, and data analysis while supporting the Council’s work to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for local residents. You will contribute to a wide range of projects across both Public Health and Public Protection, including health improvement, health protection, housing, community safety, and environmental health.
