To support this growth, they are seeking an experienced interim specialist to join the leadership team as Operations Manager – Portfolio Operations (Existing Business). This pivotal role will help shape best-practice processes and ensure the smooth running of business-as-usual activity across the loan portfolio.The RoleAs Operations Manager for Portfolio Operations, you will take ownership of all in-life loan management activities, ensuring efficient,pliant and well-controlled BAU operations. Responsibilities include:
1. Managing in-life loan servicing and customer support
2. Overseeing collections, arrears and payment management
3. Ensuring accurate reconciliations and strong financial controls
4. Producing and maintaining MI, operational reporting and data integrity
5. Maintaining consistentpliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations
6. Driving operational improvements and embedding best-in-class processes
7. Utilising internal workflow and loan management systems (experience with nCino is advantageous)
About YouWe are looking for an experienced operations leader with:
8. Proven experience in portfolio operations, loan servicing, collections and arrears management
9. Strong capability in running stable BAU operations within a regulated lending environment
10. A track record of delivering operational enhancements and process improvements
11. Proficiency with operational workflow systems; familiarity with nCino is beneficial.
12. The ability to operate effectively in an interim, contractor or temp-to-perm capacity
Engagement Details
13. Contract length: 3–6 months initially
14. Start date: Mid-January 2026
15. Engagement type: Day-rate contract or fixed-term contract options
16. Working pattern: 4 days per week on site in Milton Keynes
