Role Overview
Glynde Ward is a busy, acute 30‑bed Acute General Medicine ward with a multidisciplinary team and an extended care team.
Responsibilities
* Perform delegated clinical procedures such as insertion/removal of cannula, venepuncture, wound assessment and simple dressings, and removal of urinary catheter.
* Complete an induction course covering all Trust statutory and mandatory training.
* Work as a committed member of the multi‑disciplinary team, providing high standards of patient care.
* Participate in mentorship and clinical supervision, contributing to professional development for yourself and others.
* Use initiative and effective interpersonal and communication skills to support team working and patient care.
Qualifications
* Minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4, or equivalent functional skills.
* Care Certificate and/or NVQ Level 2 in health and social care, or an equivalent role.
* Hospital experience desirable but not essential.
* Well‑motivated and committed to high standards of patient care and personal professional development.
