HR Business Partner 6-Month Interim Opportunity Hybrid Working Day Rate: £300 - £350 p/d Organisation: Public Sector Body Location: Cambridgeshire An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a well-established public sector organisation as an HR Business Partner on a 6-month contract. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with senior leaders and stakeholders, providing expert HR advice and operational support across a broad range of people-related matters, including employee relations, organisational change, workforce planning and project delivery. The Opportunity As HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor, supporting managers and senior stakeholders in delivering effective people solutions aligned to organisational objectives. The role involves providing guidance on employment law, managing complex employee relations cases, supporting organisational change programmes and contributing to key HR projects and service improvement initiatives. You will also coach and support managers and HR colleagues on complex people matters, helping to build management capability and promote best practice across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Provide expert HR advice and guidance across a wide range of employee relations matters Support organisational change initiatives, restructures and workforce planning activities Lead and contribute to HR projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales and objectives Coach and influence managers on people management issues and best practice Analyse workforce data and provide insights to support decision-making Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation Support continuous improvement and transformation initiatives within the HR function Requirements Significant HR experience within a generalist or specialist HR environment, including employment law, employee relations, case management and organisational change Experience applying project management principles to successfully deliver HR projects and initiatives Experience coaching, mentoring or managing HR professionals and supporting colleagues on complex people matters Strong stakeholder management, leadership and influencing skills Customer-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence Ability to analyse complex issues, develop practical solutions and manage competing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and data analysis Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems Desirable Experience advising and influencing senior leaders on HR strategy and organisational development Previous experience within the public sector or a complex, multi-stakeholder environment CIPD qualification or equivalent professional experience Contract Details 6-month Day-Rate Assignment Hybrid working arrangement Immediate or short-notice candidates highly desirable Potential for extension subject to organisational requirements How to Apply Please apply online or contact Abbie Carr or Jack Sharpe at Spirehouse for a confidential discussion.
