Senior Procurement Officer / Procurement Officer
Overview
Senior Procurement Officer / Procurement Officer role focusing on sourcing, supplier management, and cost-effective purchasing within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
* Conduct product research and source new suppliers and vendors with comparison and evaluation.
* Sourcing Food and Beverage ingredients, products and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
* Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
* Review quality of purchased products.
* Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
* Responsible for the purchasing process and activity covering all product categories in both Operating Supplies & Equipment, Fixtures & Furniture.
* Fulfill the purchasing requirements of the hotel under the Procurement guideline and ensure all are met in a timely, cost-effective manner and adhere to Fullerton Hotel's quality standard and requirement.
* Identify and seek opportunities for cost reduction, improved quality, supplier rationalization to an effective number in support of the business along with supplier management process.
* Conduct regular supplier performance evaluation and Service Contract management.
* Communicate and coordinate for specification/branding requirement, sourcing, budget planning, mock-up room purchases and to ensure timely delivery of items and maximization of savings via group contracts where applicable.
* Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
* Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or above.
* A minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in procurement and hospitality industry.
* Good communication skills and fluency in both oral and written English, Cantonese.
