Job Description
* Manage all aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
* Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
* Responsible for all accruals, prepayments, journals and depreciation
* Reconcile company bank statements.
* Manage day-to-day transactions.
* Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to improve financial procedures.
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
* Support with budget preparation.
* Assist in financial audits when necessary.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
* A strong background where they have managed all aspects of the Purchase Ledger function
* Proven experience in accounts up to Trial Balance
* Comfortable with a small team that reports into them
* Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
* Proficient with accounting software and MS Office.
* Attention to detail and ability to keep records up-to-date.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
