The Role
As a Site Engineer, you’ll take ownership of all engineering activities across production and facilities, including maintenance, breakdown response, capital and improvement projects, contractor management, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will ensure all works are carried out safely, manage the CMMS system, oversee statutory inspections, and drive efficiency, reliability, and improvement across the site.
Who We’re Looking For
Key Essentials:
* Strong technical background – must be multiskilled
* Highly independent and responsible; able to plan, manage own time, and guide others
* Strong drive for continuous improvement (CI experience essential)
* Qualified to HNC/D level preferred (or equivalent experience)
* Excellent verbal and written communication; able to produce project plans, reports, and basic data analysis

* Confident working individually and collaboratively
* Strong relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization
* Ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Location & Work Pattern
This role is based in Stonehouse, UK, with an on-site work expectation. Some travel to other Bodycote Surface Technology sites may be required.
