Engineering Team Leader
Your new company: Maintenance Shift Team Leader required for a large manufacturing business near Kings Lynn. You will lead, support, and coach a team of engineers while working on the site maintenance plan.
Your new role
You will work closely with a team of maintenance engineers, responding to breakdowns with urgency, and working on site PPM. Responsibilities include raising permits for contractors, managing contractor works, prioritizing tasks, ensuring safety, and recording all works in the company CMMS.
You will perform tasks such as machinery and tool changeovers within SOPs, completing daily reports, recording works, logging critical spares, supporting equipment training, and managing a skills matrix. You will attend daily shift change meetings, communicate effective handovers, and report on asset availability, RCA's, and project updates.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be an apprentice-trained engineer with manufacturing experience and team leadership skills. A strong electrical and mechanical background with high-speed processing equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, fault-finding, problem-solving, and a proactive maintenance approach are essential. Leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills are also required.
