Were seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to join one of our prestigious clients based in Stoke-on-Trent!
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, family-run precision engineering business known for its high standards and quality workmanship. Operating from a clean, modern facility with new machinery, the company offers a relaxed and supportive working environment.
Youll be responsible for setting and operating 2-axis lathes with Fanuc controls to produce precision components to specification.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position offering long-term stability and excellent working conditions.
What youll be doing
* Set and operate 2-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
* Interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce precision components
* Manufacture small batches of intricate, high-quality parts
* Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks using measuring equipment
* Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and company procedures
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
Hours
Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am-3:30pm
Pay
Approx £35,000 per annum(Depending on Experience)
Overtime available and paid at time
Skills/Experience Required
* Minimum 5 years experience in CNC turning / lathe operation
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Confident using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Clear communication skills
* Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
