Qualification: Level 3 Early Years Qualified (Essential)
Are you an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking to take the next step into a leadership role? We are recruiting a dedicated Nursery Team Leader in Burgess Hill to lead a passionate team of early years practitioners, delivering high-quality care and education for children.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise the nursery team, ensuring smooth daily operations
2. Support staff development and training, providing guidance and mentorship
3. Maintain high standards of care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
4. Oversee keycarer allocation and monitor children’s progress
5. Conduct regular staff appraisals and provide constructive feedback
6. Promote a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children
7. Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the local community
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safeguarding, and health & safety standards
