Baker Job Description
Working 40 hours per week over 5 days
Monday to Friday from 6.30 am to 15.00 pm
at our Bakery in Sawbridgeworth
The Baker is responsible for preparing and baking a wide variety of breads including sourdough, and other baked goods, confectioneries. This role requires attention to detail, consistency in quality, and adherence to food safety standards. The Baker ensures all products meet the bakery's quality standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A Baker's responsibilities include starting early in the morning, to produce baked goods for delivery or sale during regular business hours. The Baker will make sure Dorringtons offer fresh and delicious goods to our customers on a daily basis.
Their other duties and responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the standard of ingredients
* Preparing equipment
* Measuring and weighing wet and dry ingredients
* Using mixing equipment to mix/combine the ingredients
* Operating roll plant and bread mixers following recipes and procedures
* Kneading and moulding the dough
· Finishing
Bakery experience is essential.
