A specialist engineering consultancy is seeking an Engineering Analyst with strong experience in numerical modelling to join its growing team. The role offers exposure to high-profile international projects focused on advanced simulation and risk mitigation.
Key Requirements
*
Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline
*
Experience with Finite Element (FE) analysis (explicit and/or implicit)
*
Non-linear transient dynamic analysis experience
*
Experience modelling non-linear material behaviour
*
CFD knowledge/experience
*
UK national or permanent UK resident (last 5 years)
*
Willing to undergo background checks
*
Full driving licence and able to commute to rural Suffolk
Desirable
*
Blast, impact, or high strain-rate modelling
*
Construction industry experience
*
2+ years’ post-graduate experience or PhD (FE-based)
*
Experience with ANSYS (Autodyn, LS-DYNA, Implicit), Blastfoam/Viper::Blast/Air3D
*
CAD software proficiency
Structured support towards Chartered Engineer and PSE accreditation is provided.
