Our client, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an experienced Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional (Risk) to join their Submarine Solutions team on a 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the planning, monitoring, and control activities for submarine projects
Applying your expertise in risk controls to ensure project milestones are met
Developing and maintaining project schedules, risk registers, and control mechanisms
Collaborating with various stakeholders to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Providing insightful analysis and progress reports to support decision-making
Ensuring compliance with BAE-Project Professional standards and methodologies
Facilitating communication and coordination between on-site and remote teams
Supporting the continuous improvement of project processes and controls
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in project planning, monitoring, and control in the Defence & Security sector
Strong knowledge of risk management techniques
Proficiency in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and risk registers
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proven ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely
Engineering or project management degree or equivalent qualification
Contract Details:
6-month contract position
Hybrid work model: 2 days on site every 2 weeks
