At Jensten Motor Trade, we’re seeking an Account Handler to provide exceptional client service, support business growth, and oversee our account handler team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and growing insurance broker.
As a top provider of specialist, exclusive, and cost-effective insurance products, we focus on delivering outstanding service. You’ll work at our Bexleyheath office (with hybrid working options after training). Key responsibilities include:
* Offering and presenting insurance solutions, including policies and risk management options, to secure renewals and new business. Collaborate with colleagues and managers to communicate, raise concerns, and find solutions.
* Identifying and pursuing cross-selling, up-selling, and other opportunities. Using all leads provided and developing new methods to increase quote volume.
* Achieving or exceeding income retention and policy count targets.
* Understanding clients’ business operations, opportunities, risks, and risk management approaches.
* Ensuring compliance with procedures, customer service standards, and external regulations like FCA.
About you
As an Account Handler, you’ll have excellent communication and written skills, with a keen eye for detail. You’re eager to develop and can expect excellent career progression, training, and development in the insurance industry. You will also have:
* Insurance industry experience (essential)
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) or working towards them
* Strong customer service skills
* Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent telephone manner and relationship-building skills
* Passion to learn and grow in insurance
* Previous experience working with insurers and clients
* Ability to use initiative, multi-task, and update systems and admin efficiently
