We are seeking an experienced, confident, and proactive team player with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and maintain productive working relationships with all key stakeholders, including colleagues, partners, and prospective families. The postholder will play a vital leadership role by coordinating all marketing and admissions activities and providing new capacity, particularly in admissions marketing.
Marketing and Admissions
Lead Required as soon as possible
RGS attracts high-calibre applicants from across the region for our limited school places. Successful applicants come from Hartlepool, Carlisle, Berwick, and surrounding areas. Our students are talented, socially diverse, and thrive in our fast-paced academic environment.
Our current Marketing and Admissions cycle is supported by various colleagues across academic, pastoral, and operational roles. However, only our Head of Admissions is dedicated solely to this function. To address potential challenges in future admissions, we are investing in this new role to maintain our academic standards and social diversity.
The Marketing and Admissions Lead will coordinate all activities related to the prospective families’ journey, including:
* Brand awareness
* Initial enquiry
* Information events and engagement
* Application process
* Academic selection
* Offers and rejections
* Acceptances
* Induction, through to the end of the students’ first term
The postholder will focus on building relationships throughout this process, ensuring applicants feel the process is handled with humanity, transparency, and prioritising their wellbeing.
Additional Details
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, 8.30am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday, throughout the year, including key admissions events.
Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 gross per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
