Clumber Care is a welcoming and spacious residential children’s home for young people aged between 10 and 17. Our primary function is to offer a safe and nurturing home where young people can thrive and be supported to reach their full potential to lead their best life.
We are currently recruiting for: Deputy Manager
Nugent is pleased to offer this exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to become part of the management team within Clumber Care. This role will require the successful candidate to assist with the day to day operations of the home and ensure that the care we provide to our young persons is in line with Nugent’s values.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our young people can voice their opinions, thoughts and suggestions in relation to decision-making. Alongside the Registered Manager and existing Deputy Manager, you will lead, manager and support a staff team in line with Ofsted regulations to achieve an outstanding rating and support with recruitment of staff. You will lead by example, have the ability to handle a high demanding workload and have a dedication to drive forward improvements.
The successful candidate will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Care or currently working towards this (or equivalent) and have experience of holding a senior role within a residential secure childcare setting.
This role will require the successful candidate to take part in the on-call rota and will be based on shift patterns including some weekends.
