Workshop Manager Required in Wednesbury
1. Basic Salary: Up to £55,000
2. OTE £60,000+
3. Hours: Monday to Friday, looking for flexible Working hours (Days/ Evenings / Nights)
Our client, a busy and well-established automotive business, is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join their successful Fleet department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven leader within the motor trade who is looking to take full ownership of a high-performing Workshop and drive efficiency, quality, and team performance.
Workshop Manager Responsibilities:
4. Oversee the day-to-day running of a busy automotive Workshop
5. Allocate work efficiently to a team of technicians
6. Ensure maximum productivity through effective scheduling
7. Monitor job times and improve workshop efficiency
8. Maintain high standards of repair quality and workmanship
9. Support, lead, and develop workshop staff
10. Reduce repeat visits and improve first-time fix rates
11. Manage stock, control costs, and minimise waste
12. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations
13. Liaise with office staff to ensure smooth operations.
The Ideal Workshop Manager Will Have:
14. Previous experience in a Workshop Controller / Workshop Manager position
15. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repairs
16. A proven track record of managing and motivating a team
17. Excellent organisational and communication skills
18. A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
