Join Our Team as an Accounting Specialist!
Are you ready to make an impact? In this role, you will dive deep into the world of finance, ensuring compliance with our Golden Processes, ICE controls standards, and general accounting principles. Your expertise will drive the accuracy of all accounting and reporting processes.
Your Mission:
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our local, statutory, and corporate reporting processes are not only timely and effective but also compliant with local tax and legal requirements. Your attention to detail will ensure that local accounting aligns with both local and group standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ownership of O2C Process: Manage invoicing, sales credits, price changes, promotional activities, trade terms, and off-invoice discounts, ensuring accurate representation in local and corporate reporting.
* Closing Processes: Oversee periodic, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, producing reports for Royal Canin headquarters and Mars Inc, as well as local reporting, including Intrastat.
* Account Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and manage period-end control activities, including oversight of Blackline reconciliation.
* Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy of financial results through the integrity of accounting data and systems, working within a robust controls environment.
* Audit Support: Provide high-quality data for internal and external auditors within agreed timelines.
* Governance Leadership: Drive the governance agenda within your functional area, including the rollout and maintenance of the Internal Controls Excellence (ICE) framework.
What We’re Looking For:
* Education: A university degree in finance, accounting, or relevant experience.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential.
* Language Skills: Fluency in another language is a plus, but not mandatory.
