JOB OVERVIEW:
Business development and key account retention on avionics products for UK and Nordic Region
MAIN DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The development of new accounts for the complete portfolio of avionics products and solutions that are under Evolution Measurement’s responsibility.
* The account management and development of existing business for all the avionic product portfolio under Evolution Measurement’s responsibility.
* To understand the business, market, and future development plans of potential and existing accounts.
* To identify and visit customers, generate and deliver presentations and make effective demonstrations of the products in specific applications.
* The territory coverage includes the following:
* Direct responsibility for avionics instruments sales in UK South and Nordic regions (Product Specific)
* Support of Northern UK Regional Sales Manager for avionics products, as appropriate
* Territory coverage, as well as account attribution, is subject to evolution depending on potentials, business opportunities, company priorities and structure.
* Maintain up-to-date accurate records using the Company’s CRM system.
* Promote, seek and develop opportunities for the Service, Calibration and Repair business for the product range, in cooperation with that Department.
* Provide, on a monthly basis, an accurate order forecast of potential new business, as well as regular updates, as required.
* Contribute to the annual budget planning process.
* Feedback to the Company trends in the market that could impact Evolution Measurement and the avionics business.
* Liaise with the Internal Sales Team to build and deliver accurate, compelling commercial proposals to our customer base, ensuring that meet or exceed their expectations.
* Active and timely follow-up of new quotations to ensure they are received and reflect customer needs and gather feedback which will be entered into the CRM.
* Actively seek information relating to competitor products and activity, and new market potential opportunities and feedback to the Company.
* Work with the Internal Support and Sales Management Teams for your sales area to maximise opportunities.
* Maximise sales development time and communication with existing and potential customers.
* Represent Evolution Measurement and its principals in a professional, credible, and sincere manner at customers, exhibitions and other events.
* Be responsible for the margin management and price agreements within the Sales Area.
* Work with the Company on other projects, as may be deemed necessary.
* Adhere to, and follow, the Company Operating Guidelines, Principles and Procedures at all times.
What we are looking for
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Background in Engineering
* Proven track record in technical sales
* Former Licensed and Certified B2 Technician competence and experience
* Working knowledge of RF/ Transponder level aviation test equipment, ideally with a known manufacturer’s products, covering bench, laboratory and portable instruments
* Working knowledge of pitot-static test kits, air data test sets and pitot-static adapters
* Good IT Skills, including use of MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint
ADDITIONAL BENEFICIAL SKILLS:
* Experience in Maintenance, Service, Calibration of Aircraft Avionics Equipment
* A passion for the applications and likely customers in this sector
* Knowledge and hands‑on skills in calibration and maintenance of Aircraft Avionics Systems
* Willingness to explore and investigate new customers
PERSON PROFILE:
* The role is based from our HQ in Andover, but location in proximity to our customers is essential, with occasional travel to the office, on-request and as required.
* Applicants must be team players, have good interpersonal skills and have a flexible attitude.
* A natural and genuine enthusiasm for the aircraft industry and related topics in this sector.
