We provide dedicated and personalised care to general medical patients with conditions ranging from short-stay minor ailments through to hyper-acute conditions. We also care for those with cardiac, GI and respiratory conditions, as well as providing high-quality care at all stages to our cancer and elderly patients.
Our Emergency Department is one of the busiest YET highest performing departments in Kent, seeing more than 100,000 patients per year.
Working days and or shift patterns will be agreed by the line manager to meet the needs of the service. Full internal rotation shifts patterns that will include day, nights and weekends. Full time/part-time contracts can be accommodated.
We are looking for candidates who are motivated, good team-player, caring, professional, honest, adaptable and friendly. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in challenging and swiftly changing environment. You will have current acute knowledge and be able to demonstrate at interview your knowledge around current healthcare initiatives.
You would be supported by senior nurses, Practice Development Nurse and Matron and this post would offer you the opportunity to be part of a motivated and forward thinking team.
There will be opportunities for further study and development.
