Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bus Driver based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Bus Driver will be responsible for operating buses or coaches to transport passengers to various destinations safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include planning and following routes, adhering to schedules, performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring passenger safety, and providing excellent customer service. The individual will be expected to assist passengers as needed and maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational standards.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in operating buses, trucks, or other large vehicles, with valid and appropriate licenses.
* Knowledge of defensive driving techniques and a strong focus on road safety.
* Experience with Bus or Driver Training to uphold high driving and operational standards.
* Strong Customer Service skills to ensure passengers have a positive and comfortable travel experience.
* Good communication skills and the ability to handle diverse passengers and situations.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
* A clean driving record, with no major traffic violations.
* Familiarity with London and surrounding areas is an advantage.
