About the role:
As a Senior Manager sitting in the wider Tax Transformation and Technology team, with a focus on FATCA and CRS, Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) and operational taxes, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our tax solutions to meet the complex needs of our clients.
Increasing complexity of business arrangements, new legislative requirements such as CRS2.0 and CARF, and increased tax authority scrutiny are creating significant challenges for organisations. In order to meet these challenges, organisations are looking to improve their tax processes through a combination of new technology, AI and system change. As a result, there is significant opportunity to impact businesses with these changes.
It is an exciting time to join the team which combines skills from across tax with a clear objective: to work with clients to improve the delivery of FATCA and CRS, AEOI and operational taxes advisory and compliance through technology and process improvement. We work collaboratively with deep technical specialists across a broad spectrum of areas to deliver to our clients.
This role requires:
* Knowledge and experience working with businesses to advise on, deliver or implement AEOI and operational taxes compliance and reporting solutions
* A strategic vision, technical expertise, and the ability to lead and develop a team of specialists.
You will be responsible for developing strategy and technology priorities and driving innovation as well as building client relationships and overseeing engagements.
What your days will look like:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their FATCA and CRS requirements, their compliance strategy and provide innovative technology-driven solutions.
* Maintain relevant tax knowledge, remain up to date with technical developments including changes in tax law and legislation, as well as technological developments such that you can advise clients and internal stakeholders, including delivering sessions at client events.
* Oversee large-scale global outsourced compliance projects from inception through to ongoing annual delivery, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Mentor and guide a team of tax professionals covering both technology and advisory services, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
This role is for you if:
* You have experience in FATCA and CRS, AEOI and operational taxes compliance and advisory. You will have gained this experience either working in-house or as an external advisor.
* You have in-depth knowledge of FATCA and CRS obligations and processes, including jurisdictional nuances and technology solutions.
* You have demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering value-added solutions.
* You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and technology to drive decision-making.
* You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax technology concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
