The Role
We seek a chartered or senior building surveyor to join our Cardiff office. The successful candidate will work within a team covering all aspects of professional and project-related building surveying in both private and public sectors.
You will support project leaders to deliver high-quality services, achieve client outcomes, share knowledge, and foster innovation. Your responsibilities include managing client and project teams to deliver building surveying services profitably and on time, covering design, specifications, clerk of works, contract administration, building surveys, and dilapidations.

Core Duties
* Deliver projects from inception to completion.
* Maintain effective communication for project success and financial control.
* Assist in managing client/project teams for timely and profitable service delivery.
* Visit sites for surveys, meet with contractors, clients, and staff to ensure project progress.
* Complete work accurately and promptly.
* Represent the company professionally, building strong client relationships.
Required Skills and Attributes
* BSc in building surveying or equivalent.
* MRICS membership is beneficial.
* Strong technical writing and communication skills.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS is beneficial.
* Experience in higher education, local government, or healthcare sectors is advantageous.
* Good relations with private and public sector clients.
* Skills in surveys, project management, repairs, and maintenance.
* Organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, and commercially minded.
* Team player with a positive attitude.
* Polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible.
* Good IT skills including AutoCAD, NBS, MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, and other software.
