Ably Resources are helping our client to identify a Regional Sales Engineer to support the business in growing their presence in the local market. The company offer a range of offshore services, but this specific position will be focussed on their Subsea Intervention Rental Tooling Facility in Aberdeen.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
Develop relationships with existing and potential clients
Generating sales and revenue as per KPIs with existing and future clients
Initial focal point for client technical queries, ensuring the business is provided clarification details immediately to support positive client outcomes
Review of rental tooling sales quotes in line with regional industry standards
Developing and leading the sales and marketing agenda in the region in consultation with Head Office
Attending regular networking functions & trade shows within the Oil & Gas Subsea sector within North Sea and /or Europe region, with particular focus on local Aberdeen industry content
Preparing and delivering presentations to external and internal stakeholders in line with company branding & document control parameters
Following up on open tenders and quotes for regional client database
Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
Candidate Requirements
10+ years experience
Knowledge of specific market dynamics in Subsea Intervention
Demonstration of complete and/or ongoing training and development with focus on business development and marketing
