We're hiring a Maintenance Engineer to support a fast-paced, precision-driven CNC manufacturing environment. This role involves keeping machinery operational, preventing downtime, and ensuring continuous production.
Responsibilities
1. Diagnosing faults on CNC machinery (fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain control systems preferred).
2. Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on various turning and milling centers.
3. Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
4. Replacing mechanical components such as spindles, bearings, and actuators.
5. Performing minor electrical repairs (sensors, relays, safety circuits).
6. Supporting machinery installations and upgrades.
7. Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and tracking parts usage.
8. Scheduling maintenance to align with production workloads.
9. Collaborating with OEMs and escalating technical issues when necessary.
Candidate Profile
1. Experienced mechanical engineer or maintenance technician.
2. Strong fault-finding and repair skills, especially mechanical.
3. Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain controls.
4. Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics confidently.
5. Self-motivated with good prioritization skills.
6. Dedicated to maintaining high machine availability.
