Our client delivers high‑quality residential developments across London and the South East, and this role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a range of live housing projects while developing your career within residential construction.
The Role: As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with senior commercial staff and project teams, assisting with the financial and contractual management of residential developments.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Assisting with cost control and budget management across residential projects
* Supporting the preparation of valuations and cost reports
* Assisting with subcontractor procurement and administration
* Helping manage variations and change control
* Supporting final accounts and project close‑out
* Liaising with site teams and subcontractors
The Ideal Candidate
* Some experience within Quantity Surveying in residential construction or development
* Strong commercial awareness and numerical ability
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to travel to sites across London and the South East
