The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Senior Navigation Lab Electrical Systems Engineer – Flight Sim Labs, located in Berkeley, MO.
Position Responsibilities
1. Lead efforts with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
2. Coordinate work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications.
3. Test and validate systems to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements.
4. Oversee monitoring of supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance.
5. Support fielded hardware/software throughout the product lifecycle.
6. Research technological advances for potential application to business needs.
7. Make recommendations for technology investments.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed locations.
Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). An active clearance within the past 24 months is acceptable.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
* Level 4: 9+ years with a Bachelor’s, 7+ with a Master’s, or 4+ with a PhD.
* Experience with aircraft inertial navigation systems, testing navigation systems, and GPS navigation systems.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and handling Electrostatic Sensitive Devices (ESD).
* Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication skills and adaptability to new technologies.
* Hands-on experience with hardware and mechanical tools; mechanically inclined.

Education/experience typically includes advanced technical education and relevant work experience as specified. Relocation assistance may be available. The position is for 1st shift.
Salary range: $119,850 - $162,150. Applications accepted until June 14, 2025.
