Train new cashiers to ensure high performance, ensuring they understand all procedures for opening and closing shifts.
Relay feedback to management regarding additional training needs for new cashiers.
Customer Service
Provide an impeccable customer experience at all times, using appropriate etiquette, body language, and tone.
Manage customer relationships, foster loyalty, handle complaints, and escalate issues when necessary.
Welcome, inform, and answer customer queries effectively.
Cash Desk Responsibilities
* Manage tills, customer queries, and ensure security at the cash desk.
* Control cash handling procedures, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
* Extract daily sales data, report to the business, and identify discrepancies.
* Complete daily follow-ups and fill out the financial board each morning.
* Achieve all KPIs set by management.
Additional Store Responsibilities
* Assist with stock replenishment, prepare items for the shop floor, and replenish all areas of the store.
* Conduct cycle counts and price checks as requested.
* Maintain a tidy till area.
* Answer phones and handle customer queries, providing feedback to management when necessary.
Services
* Be available for monogramming, belt cuts, and belt holes (training provided).
* Assist with gift wrapping and communicate timeframes clearly to customers.
