Senior Quantity Surveyor - Power & Renewable

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing commercial team supporting the delivery of complex power and renewables projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage budgets, cost reports, and bill of quantities (BOQs)
* Lead commercial meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
* Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
* Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and progress applications
* Manage subcontractor accounts, including payments, retentions, and agreements
* Identify and report commercial risks, variations, and escalations
* Collaborate with planning teams to align programme and cost reporting
* Assess and agree dayworks, change orders, and remeasurements
* Maintain accurate records and provide detailed commercial support documentation
* Negotiate with clients and stakeholders where required
* Ensure adherence to internal information security and governance standards
Requirements
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally on electrical or infrastructure projects
* Strong knowledge of contract conditions and commercial processes
* NEC3 contract experience preferred
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
* Must have the right to work within the UK
