This is an opportunity to work in a highly innovative environment, designing and developing advanced solutions that make a real-world impact.The RoleAs a Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a range of research, development, test and evaluation activities across multi-disciplinary science and engineering projects.
You'll support the development of airborne anti-submarine warfare systems, working closely with technical teams and customers to deliver high-integrity, mission-critical capability.Day-to-day, you'll be part of a collaborative engineering team designing, testing and refining complex systems that push the boundaries of innovation.What You'll Be DoingApplying systems or software engineering lifecycle principles to challenging defence problemsUsing rapid-prototyping to influence and validate system designCollaborating with a dynamic engineering team while taking ownership of individual tasksSupporting delivery of acoustic systems requiring sensor and aircraft simulation using high-fidelity test signalsContributing hands-on technical expertise to deliver advanced, mission-winning solutionsEssential ExperienceUnderstanding of the Systems and/or Software Engineering lifecyclePrevious experience working within a Systems Engineering environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively within a teamEssential QualificationsDegree in Physics, Maths, Oceanography, Electronics, or a relevant engineering discipline(Candidates with equivalent technical experience are also encouraged to apply.)Who We're Looking ForWe welcome applications from candidates with diverse technical backgrounds.
