We are seeking individuals with previous laboratory experience to join our Medical Microbiology department on a permanent basis.
As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our busy laboratory, which processes approximately 230,000 specimens annually. Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, you will contribute to high-quality diagnostic microbiology services that directly affect patient care.
Our department is UKAS accredited (ISO 15189) and approved for training by the HCPC and IBMS. We actively encourage professional development, with opportunities for CPD and further learning.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
