Part Time Senior Support Worker – Orchard House
We are looking for a Part Time Senior Support Worker to join our team at Orchard House. Shaw healthcare (Group) Ltd is committed to providing excellent care and a rewarding working environment.
Pay
£12.72 per hour (part time – 21 hours a week). Shift pattern 07:30 am–03:00 pm / 02:45 pm–10:15 pm.
Responsibilities
* Support the Team Leader and manage medication.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families and carers.
* Keep the line manager up to speed with residents’ needs and progress.
* Follow guidelines and policies and provide written care plans.
* Use the latest care technology to spend more time with residents.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with older people in residential care.
* Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
* Completed or working towards QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Team player able to follow guidelines and policies.
