Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Health and Safety Coordinator to join our client's team in Corby. As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of health and safety procedures across our projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in health and safety or document control, or for those looking to kickstart their career in the industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
2. Support site teams with the coordination and administration of health and safety documentation.
3. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
5. Provide support and guidance to project teams on health and safety matters.
6. Maintain accurate records of health and safety documentation and training records.
7. Liaise with external stakeholders, including subcontractors and regulatory bodies, as required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a health and safety or document control role is desirable but not essential.
* A keen interest in health and safety and a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications (desirable but not essential).
* Ability to work autonomously and take initiative when required.
