Role Summary

We're seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Teacher of Economics to deliver engaging, academically rigorous lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a high-performing secondary school setting. This part-time position starts in September 2025, with flexible days available to suit your circumstances.

Essential Requirements

* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* High expectations of student achievement and progress
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

* Planning and delivering high-quality Economics lessons
* Teaching KS3 and KS4 students in line with curriculum expectations
* Setting high standards for academic achievement
* Creating a positive, inclusive classroom culture
* Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on student progress
* Preparing students for internal and external exams
* Differentiating lessons to meet a range of student needs
* Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development
* Supporting the school's values and ethos
* Upholding safeguarding procedures and school policies
