Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic andcommitted Head of Build to join our Infill PIA team in Scotland

We are looking for The role will be responsible for leading,motivating and developing the team to support the delivery and profitability ofour projects in line with contractual, legal, regulatory, and businessrequirements, with particular emphasis on large and/or complex opportunitiesacross the Department.
You will be developing the team into a centre of excellenceand ensuring that there is a key focus on quality, on-time delivery of the workcommitments and adherence to safety standards.
As a Head ofBuild – Infill PIAyour coreresponsibilities will be supporting the Director and other functions whereappropriate to improve processes, develop though leadership for achievingcommercial success in all areas and enhance employee engagement. This will alsorequire you to manage ad hoc projects and requests from time to time and act asdeputy for the Director on in-life contract management queries.
What will you be doing?
As a Head of Build, your core responsibilities will be –
* To manage and take ownership for all majorprojects & frameworks which are either new or in-life.Providing high quality operational andcommercial leadership, delivering revenue and profit, whilst maintaining strongclient relationships
* Overseeing all activities and resource to ensurethat design, procurement, financial control and site activities are managed tothe highest standards in all areas of the project delivery
* Working with the client to enable the mostefficient and cost-effective approach in delivering an outstanding program ofworks and project
* Continuously reviewing and agreeing workcommitments with both the Client and the project team to ensure progress is inline with agreed volume commitments and timeframes and any approved contractualobligations
* Escalating any variations or major changes to theproject, including any commercial impact to project delivery where necessary
* To develop, implement and oversee systems,processes, and procedures to manage risks and contractual obligations,achieving optimum value from the contracts and ensuring there is full awarenessfor all respective teams involved in the programs / projects
* Development of strong team working relationships,being hands on and a point of escalation to ensure the effective management andadministration of programs and or projects
* Prepare guidance for relevant stakeholdersassociated with the contract and regularly review performance against theproject both internally with the team and with the Client, whilst driving costbase improvements
* Working closely with all internal departments toensure compliance around safety and quality, resource planning and financialmanagement.
* Prepareand present Client KPI reviews, consistency in delivery is key.
Requirements
* At least 5 years’ experience of managingprojects, developing successful profitable solutions and managing opportunitiesand risks through the full lifecycle, preferably including exit management
* High commercial acumen and contract terminologyknowledge
* Proven leadership skills with the ability tolead by example, set high standards, translate strategies into action anddeliver against challenging objectives across complex environments
* Proven contract management track record withability to improve business performance
* Best-in-class negotiation, relationshipmanagement and influencing skills at a senior level
* Experience of Managing P&L and the impact ofdecisions on budgets/forecasts
* Must be able to assimilate, understand and resolvecomplex technical, strategic and business issues
* Highlevel of experience in Resource and Forecasting Management
