Over the last few years, the Hotel has undergone major renovations in the bedrooms, restaurant, residents lounge, sports bar and all public areas. Main duties and purpose of the role: F&B Assistants need food service and waiting skills, alongside excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate well with guests. F&B Assistants also need excellent knowledge of food preparation and hygiene standards. A successful F&B Assistant candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that typically include: Experience of working in a Bar or restaurant and To ensure Bar checks have been received in the kitchen Check Bar tables are correctly laid up according to the standards before any dishes are served to guests To ensure tables are cleared in the appropriate manner & time To have knowledge of drinks service techniques in order to serve all drinks correctly and to required standard To carry out other reasonable duties as deemed appropriate by a Supervisor To deal with all customer / guest comments or complaints immediately and pass onto appropriate Supervisor/HOD. Excellent service skills, including the ability to deliver drinks on trays Ensure wastage and breakages are recorded correctly and assist with ordering of stock as required Ability to work well with other team members and to follow directions from supervisors To be responsible for cleaning of equipment in the bar - polishing of glassware etc Ability to provide guests with up-to-date information and directions while attending the function To be polite and courteous to all guests and visitors to the hotel at all times The above is a non-exhaustive list of duties and you are expected to undertake any other duties as requested by your Manager.
