Recruit4staff are representing a leading international engineering and construction business in their search for a Temporary Works Engineer to work in Seascale
Job Details:
* Pay: Up to £70,000 per annum plus min £5750 car allowance
* Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, Days role
* Duration: Permanent

Job Role: The Temporary Works Engineer will manage temporary works procedures across complex construction projects within a highly regulated environment. As a Temporary Works Engineer, you will undertake design and/or design checking activities, including detailed design of temporary works and simple permanent works. Responsibilities include management of internal and external designers, independent technical reviews, HAZARD and risk reviews, implementation of necessary procedures, and liaison with the Principal Designer and Designers to ensure full compliance.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
* Understanding and working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and design processes
* Proven experience working as a Temporary Works Engineer within a consultancy or temporary works design department
* Ability to deputise for the Principal Engineer if required
* Understanding of Principal Designer duties including ERIC
* BEng / MEng in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, or HNC/HND with significant relevant experience
* Member of a professional institution (e.g. MICE)
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
* Experience in nuclear, defence, rail, or other highly regulated sectors
* SC clearance or eligibility
* Working toward or achieved Chartered Engineer (CEng)
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate
* IOSH Managing Safely
