WGM Engineering is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our Engineering Solutions team. In this role, you will design, cut, join, and shape metal to create structures, components, and assemblies—or repair existing ones. You’ll interpret technical drawings and specifications, select appropriate materials, and prepare them for assembly using manual, automated, or mechanized processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications.
* Design, fabricate, and repair metal structures and components.
* Select and prepare materials for assembly.
* Operate manual and mechanized fabrication equipment safely.
* Ensure compliance with safe systems of work.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* ASME 9 or EN ISO 9606-1 certification.
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar fabrication role.
* Strong technical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of pumps and components.
* Ability to use engineering measuring equipment.
* Valid UK driving licence.
* CSCS/EUSR card holder.
Desirable Training
* Confined Space Entry.
* DOMS & Water Hygiene.
* Overhead pendant/gantry crane operation.
* Lifting Operations.
