Job title: Housing Disrepair and Close Out Officer – Wales Department/Region: Legal/Compliance Reporting to: Head of Legal Location/Base: Home based with travel to properties in Wales Salary : £28,000.00 - £32,000.00 per annum Responsible for the investigations into the state of Properties once they have been vacated by our Service Users. Using those investigations, along with the historical information we hold on the Properties to advise the Landlord/agents about their responsibilities for make good any damage and to liaise with the legal team about adequate compensation offers. Procedures Prepare letters, emails, reports and other documents at a high standard Carry out on site investigations as to disrepair Take and make calls dealing with internal and external enquiries relating to disrepair and close outs Drafting emails and reports for the review of your direct report Daily record keeping with electronic and physical filing of caseloads Analyse and summarise documents Assist with the administration and management of workflow of close outs Working in a fast-paced organisation, as well as teamwork Connect and Collaborate Work closely with your line manager and team members Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required Supporting team members and colleagues from other departments with matter relating to close outs Work collaboratively as required with landlords and agents Responsive Keep up-to-date with all written and verbal communications (i.e. emails/messages/calls) Ensure all records are maintained and kept up-to-date according to company policies and procedures Talented Monitor own work levels, progress and development in the role Undertake all core learning and development programmes as required Undertake relevant learning according to agreed Personal Development Plan Ability to communicate at all levels (verbal and written) in English Attention to detail Trusted All employees are responsible for ensuring any personal data which Clearsprings Group holds and for which they are responsible, is kept securely and is not under any conditions disclosed to any third party unless that third party has been specifically authorised by Clearsprings Group to receive that information and has entered into a confidentiality agreement.
