Employment Details
Part time, Permanent contract. Shift pattern: Days, 26 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Pass an enhanced safeguarding check before commencing work.
* Work day shifts (26 hrs per week) with a requirement for weekend working.
* Provide friendly, warm service to customers and help them find the right products.
* Resolve customer problems quickly and efficiently.
* Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
* Drive awareness and promotion of pharmacy services such as prescription collection, medicines use reviews, blood pressure checks and stop smoking schemes.
* Support the pharmacist with effective record‑keeping of patient services.
* Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures consistently.
* Collect prescriptions from the customer’s doctor.
* Complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, then train as a Dispensing Assistant.
